Vidalia Sweet Onions

Vidalia® Sweet Onions are the cornerstone of any sweet onion program. The Vidalia® Sweet Onion is grown in a 20 county area of South East Georgia. The unique combination of soil type and weather made this the first sweet onion grown on the eastern seaboard to become a consumer favorite.
The Vidalia® name continues to have great consumer recognition and retail impact. The harvest starts in mid-April and runs to August 30th. Vidalia Onions are also stored in a controlled atmosphere to be marketed from June through September. The Vidalia® crop typically sizes as 70% jumbo, 20% medium, 10% colossal.
